'Adaptive wintersport opportunities for all abilities'

Disabled Wintersport Australia (DWA) is a not-for-profit volunteer organization established to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to experience wintersport activities in Australia's alpine resorts. This is achieved through the use of adapted ski equipment, assistance from over 250 volunteers nationally, and access to specially trained instructors and ski guides.
With the assistance of the ski resorts throughout Australia and the support of various governments, corporations and individuals, DWA sees thousands of individuals with disabilities participating in wintersports each year. DWA supports members including first timers, recreational skiers, and Australia's Winter Paralympians.
Members of DWA are entitled to concessions on lift passes and private lessons at all ski resorts in Australia. Members also have access to an extensive range of adaptive ski and snowboard equipment, ski guides, and accommodation. In addition, there are a range of skill development and recreational programs available during both winter and summer months.
So why not join us in the mountains, either as a participant in some of the many adaptive skiing or snowboarding activities, or as a volunteer as part of a great team!
