
DWV is a voluntary organisation that seeks to encourage disabled people to participate in all aspects of snow sports.
Our aim is to convince individuals
and organisations that DISABLED PEOPLE
Membership of DWV is open to all disabled persons (whatever the nature of their disability), their families, and to any individual or organisation wishing to support our ideals.
DWV maintains several
items of adaptive equipment for use by its members: Sit-skis for paraplegics, Quad
chairs for quadriplegics, outriggers for amputees, and walking frames on skis
for anyone needing extra support or stability but who does not need a sit ski.
We are also supported by a sled dog team which is available to those without
any other means of enjoying an on snow experience.
